Bud Grafting - Sunday July 14 Workshop

Learn summer Bud Grafting with us this year! Our first class will be offered in partnership with Campbell River Greenways on July 13th, and a possible second course will be offered on Sunday July 14th at the Nursery. Please get in touch if you'd like to attend the second course on Sunday with us.
 
Take home your own grafted tree with this workshop takes place on site, at the Denman Island Heritage Apple Trees nursery.  Over the course of a morning participants will learn to graft, as well as the tree care techniques needed to grow a successful apple tree.
 
The course is small group and hands on. All plant materials are provided, and participants will get to leave with their very own grafted tree at the end of the morning!
 
The course costs $50 and runs for 2.5 hours from 9:30-12:00, Sunday July 14th.

Please bring a grafting knife (a knife with single bevel edge) with you if possible.
