This Ussurian pear was developed by the Univserity of Minnesota in 1949, it's a great choice for cool climates and cold winters up to Zone 3. It's ripe in early-mid-season and beyond eating, it's well suited to canning, cooking and juice. The tree has beautiful fall leaf colour and is resistant to fire-blight.
