Pomme Gris

Also known as the “Grey Apple” . Excellent dessert apple with medium sized fruit. Skin is tough, greenish yellow usually completely russetted. Juicy yellow flesh that is firm, juicy and aromatic. Ripens in September. Fairly good keeper. 
 
Origin: Uncertain origin, possibly Canada in the early 1800's 
 
Pollination: Very early bloom time
