Red Bartlett

$46.00Price

The red Bartlett is a sport thrown off a regular Bartlett in Washington state in 1938.  It's a large red fruit that is true pyriform shape.  The flesh is aromatic, off-white, and is fine-grained. When mature but not fully ripe, Red Bartlett pears are crunchy and tart, but when fully ripe, they develop a juicy, buttery texture with a sweet flavor.
